Showroom Sales Assistant / Design Consultant

We are in search of a Showroom Sales Assistant to add to our local stores, with the opportunity to be promoted into a Design Consultant Apprentice role in as little as 6 months to a year.

This role will create business through both in-bound and out-bound connections. The Showroom Sales Assistant will work with customers in-store with the goal of setting in-home appointments for our Design Consultants. Our Showroom Sales Assistant will also be expected to maintain the showroom appearance. The Showroom Sales Assistant is a full-time position working in one of our 7 showrooms. This is a Monday-Friday workweek with varying showroom hours but no later than 7pm. The pay is around $42,000/year based on 42 hours/week. Regular bonus opportunities available averaging $8,000-$12,000/year with realistic annual earnings of more than $52,000/year + benefits.

Our Showroom Sales Assistants are trained on-the-job to grow into a Design Consultant. Our Design Consultants work a flexible schedule including Saturdays. Design Consultant’s earn an average of $80K per year plus benefits and up to $150K per year plus benefits. We have one of the lowest employee turnover rates in our industry thanks to our family culture, core values, coaching, and training.

Candidate must:

• Have a valid Driver’s License
• Have reliable personal transportation
• Have an eye for design, color and making the world more beautiful
• Have relationship and rapport building skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have ability to manage time amid a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and solution motivated
• Be open to working until 7 PM some weekdays with Saturdays and Sundays off
• Pass background check
• Pass random drug testing
